I am a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for
animals, birds and reptiles of all shapes and sizes. I can’t remember a
time in my life where I have had less than a handful of creatures in my
household. Through my personal experiences I have gathered a wealth
of knowledge and experience regarding animal behavior and various
medical ailments. I have experience administering medicine, with wound
care management, and handling minor medical emergencies. I am not a
veterinary technician, but I have taken an introductory class on the topic
and I do have training in first aid and CPR for pets as well as EMT basic
training for people. Learning is a continual thing for me and I am
constantly seeking to further my knowledge, training, and experience in
the pet care industry. Each animal I meet teaches me something new and
gives me another tool to add to the “belt of understanding”.
About the Business:
Comforts of Home Critter Care became an official business in 2008 after
many years of informal pet sitting for friends and family. My love for
animals and concern for their welfare led me to establish my own
business devoted to helping others give their furred, feathered, finned,
and scaled companions the best care possible.
